Stargate Clips

Everybody watched the series finale of Stargate SG-1 last night, right? Was it what you thought it would be? I was expecting something different, but then the Stargate shows don't always do what you expect. Going to miss that show. (another post about that coming soon.)

I'm pretty sure there are already clips from the last episode on You Tube so I won't post any here. Instead, I made a few examples that show why the show is so good and fun to watch. They are all from episode #200 (which also happened to be titled 200). It was just chock full of sci-fi and cult references, inside jokes, and parodies:

That stands for "Repeats and Reality (shows)" which is about all that is on the broadcast channels now. There are some things worth watching on satellite and cable, though, fortunately. Also note under SFTV News & Info that the direct-to-video Babylon 5 movie is available for pre-ordering now (or from Amazon.com for $16.99). Take the link he gives there to see some production clips (but not movie clips).

Robot Chicken

Adult Swim (on Cartoon Network) is showing all of the Star Wars sketches from Robot Chicken this Sunday (6-17) at 9:00 p.m. (website is EDT). The You Tube clip in the previous post is just one of them. George Lucas actually does his own voice in some of them.

Video Test

Figured out how to embed a video from You Tube:

Looks like it includes links to lots of other Star Wars related clips. I can't vouch for the quality of those others.

Summer SF Movies

June 15: Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer

July 4: Transformers and Trailer(until they start advertising a different movie)

July 13: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (just to be complete - I probably won't see it in the theaters - I haven't seen the last two yet)

Not really SF, but might as well be - the guy is indestructible:
June 29: Live Free or Die Hard

Upcoming SF on TV

Rather than try to keep up with all SF on TV, I'll just put up the link to the website I use for it: http://www.sftv.org/sftv/sftvschd.txt. He doesn't have everything (but almost) and he has some things that aren't really SF.

A little embedded code to see how it works.
